1. What do you find challenging about coding?

How open ended it is. There is so much that can be done, different paths to take, and nothing is really going to tell you exactly how to do it. You can look up steps along the way, but nothing is really straight forward.

1. Talk about a project that disappointed you. What would you change?

Probably my portfolio. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great. I spent a lot of time trying to use different parallax methods, and by the end of it, I had to rush through some of the others parts. I have a lot to learn when it comes to design. All in all, even though I would like for the final product to have been a little better, it was a nice practice in different styles.

1. List three key things to consider when coding with SEO in mind.

This is a serious rabbit hole, and something that people obviously spend their career focus on. One of the main topics I found about it, was EAT, which essentially deals with your credibility, achievements and others things that determine the quality of your sites information. Then I learned about backlinks, and how some are good, others are bad. Sites get scores based off who links to them, who they link to and so on. This is a huge topic, and one that I wont fully cover here.

1. List five or more ways you could optimize a website to be as efficient and scalable as possible.

This is literally the same question with two more answers and some different wording…? https://ahrefs.com/blog/seo-basics/ is about the basics, and it is a pretty lengthy article, that pulls it’s punches in the sense of how much information is being thrown at you. It talks about figuring out what people are likely to be searching, then optimizing your page for fast loading, mobile friendliness, and so much more. This really is a gargantuan topic.
